Where:
1. Friend day – Our wonderful Berkeley friend visited tonight and we shared birthday dinner for G at the Indian restaurant (of course!). I was going to wear my Berkeley shirt in honor of his visit, but it is cold, cold, cold here…so I find myself going for long sleeved shirts. Anyway, so, so good to catch up with a good friend who always inspires me to be a better person. We talked animals and politics and G. We’re equally terrified of Sarah Palin. The support for Obama is, of course, overwhelming in Berkeley, unlike here where new McCain signs are popping up daily. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of Obama signs too and in our circle of friends/family, the support for Obama is overwhelming, but this sure isn’t Berkeley.
