Shirt: Hope – can be purchased in black through CafePress.

1. Chinese and Trick-Or-Treat –
We tried a new Chinese restaurant today, but I don’t think we’ll eat there again. Also was our neighborhood’s trick-or-treat day. G dressed as an elephant (we figure he can wear the costume for circus protests too:)). I was going to pin his Babies for Obama button on the costume, but after hearing from the people canvasing for Obama that there were such angry McCain supporters in our neighborhood, I figured best for him to go sans button. I wore a t-shirt, of course. Half of the candy he received is vegan…I was surprised. Still all horrible junk, but encouraging for when he’ll actually eat the candy he collects. Meanwhile, L and I will enjoy plenty of taffy this week. L passed out candy at our house and said he had some good comments about our Obama sign. Some people said “we need more of those in our neighborhood.”
